These Harley tanks were here for a simple color change.
The owner was going to have a new tank painted and leave the original alone but then decided to have them both done.
The parts were straightened and primed, then the first tank received a light green base. A vinyl transfer was used to mask for lettering and was placed over the light green. Next the outer area of the letters was masked and a silver was applied to give the main lettering color.
A dark green base with larger metallic flakes were applied to all the parts to complete the colors and a set of factory Harley decals were added to the second tank.
Last, all the parts were clear coated and polished.
