This Custom Chopper was brought to us with a design in hand. We just tweaked it to fit the bike better and found colors to match the customers idea.
The bike parts were all prepped and primed then the body work was completed. When all parts were straight and smooth, they were then primed a second time and sanded smooth. First the frame and its parts were base coated in a custom purple pearl and clear coated. The rest of the sheet metal were then set up and sprayed white. Next a strip was masked off and orange was added. When dry, the orange was covered and a yellow strip was sprayed on. The frame matching purple was then the last main color to be added.
With all the main colors applied and dry, the bike was put back together and a sweeping checker flag was masked along the bottom white section. When completed taped up the parts were again taken apart and the black was sprayed on.
With all the graphics completed the owner was called to check it over before clear. It was noticed that the yellow marked on the original design was miss-marked yellow and should have been gold. The parts were then set up and the yellow strip was masked and the gold applied. An easy fix!
Whit the colors and graphics completed the bike was clear coated and detailed to show finish.
