The owner of this Buell wanted to have a clone of a race bike. We began by sanding off and feathering edges form the factory paint job. From there the parts were primed black and sanded smooth.
The paint scheme started off by spraying a white section down the center of the parts then running two fine line tape stripes to begin the layout of the colors. Next one half of the bike was masked off and the opposite painted orange. When dry orange was covered and the last side was painted black.
Some vinyl decals were then applied so I could custom paint and match the lettering to the bike. A few coats of clear were sprayed on next for shine and durability.
The graphic parts were sanded and extra coats of clear applied to give a smooth glass like finish.
