This Harley received a simple flame job. The bike came to us prepped for paint by the owner and just needed to be cleaned and painted.
First a gray metallic was sprayed on all the parts. This will wind up being the fine line pinstripe outlining the flames. When the gray was dry, the flames scheme was laid out and the out side of the flames were masked. A silver metallic was then added to the parts. Next the outer area was unmasked and the inner area of the now silver flames were covered. When masking was complete, the black cherry was then sprayed on the outer areas.
With all graphics now complete, the inner flames and fine line tape were removed and the parts were clear coated. The entire job was then sanded smooth and a final stage of clear was again applied for a show smooth finish.
