Here's one of those projects that made me scratch my head. This is the Ford Super Stallion. A 1998 muscle car built by Ford SVE.
After meeting upon meeting with the gurus at Ford, it was decided they wanted a subtle looking muscle car for SEMA. After more meetings they chose a simple paint scheme and colors. I tried to talk them into a more race theme but was strongly denied!!
So I went to work on their carbon fiber creation making it show straight and painting it in the design of there choice. A color shifting mustang logo on the side with a complimentary body color to match.
When all was said and done, away it went. A few days latter I received a phone call that the car looked to tame!!! Imagine that!
Well the last few pictures show the final outcome....but I couldn't do the repaint due to scheduling conflicts. So we shipped Ford the new paint colors and their "Special Vehicle Engineering" group took care of the color change. My work is under there somewhere!!
Sometimes things just don't go your way and to laugh is the only way to handle it!
