The owner of this 1969 Dodge Dart brought his car in for an exterior refresh.
The current paint work was in O.K. condition but pretty wavy.
The owner requested some minor metal work, a fender had been replace and some trim holes needed welded and a I filled the factory gas cap area with a patch and welded in place as well.
The interior panels and trim were preped and given a fresh coat of semi-gloss black and the body was primed in black. The bad areas were then addressed. After the body was straight, the car was primed and painted in a jet black base coat. A factory style dark gray metallic strip was added prior to the clear-coat and the hood was done in a mat black finish.
Then the upper section was sanded and polished and she was ready to race!
