This 1939 Pontiac brings back some memories. The owner knew he wanted a purple that his wife would like. So I played around with a few shades using a experimental pearl. After the main color was given the Ok, I showed him a few other colors and tossed out the idea for the graphics.
Shaded colors down the side make up the fine line striping and Pontiac indian head logos outlining four shades of gray metallics from lite to dark and overlaping at the rear quarters of the car. The main graphics were shot in his shop then the car was moved and the final paint work completed.
